We were born in unprecedented numbers.

We saw a world of possibility.
In all its colorful glory.
We created a national uniform all our own that told the world sure,we belong.
To each other.
Our clothes did so much more than keep us warm.
They made us cool.
We didn’t dress like our parents.
Think like our parents.
Or act like them, either.
We’re a generation of individuals.

We may not know everything.
Yet.
But one thing, we know for sure.
We will never, ever fade away.

You bet we’re women “of a certain age”.
Certain that age is just a number.
We are reinventing what age means, as it happens.
And only we know how great we feel.
We are confident in a way that we’ve never known before.
Comfortable in our own skin.
We’ve been there. Done that.
And here we stand stronger, than ever.
We are really good with who we are.
We have learned that sometimes,
you have to leave your comfort zone to come into your own.
And that the best dreams happen when you are wide awake.
We have learned to listen to that strong, still voice within.
Because it knows us, better than anyone else.
And that right here, right now is a pretty wonderful place to be.
